Jeremiah Bishop and the Vegan Cyclist are back for season 3 of The Impossible Route. To kick it off, they’ve released the first episode: Riding the DEATH ROADS of Bolivia. This is a doozy of an adventure, to say the least, complete with a near/possible abduction of JB at a gold mine. Yep, sometimes we get ourselves caught up in situations that fortunately do have a more positive ending than not. Sit back and take in their wild outing in beautiful Bolivia.
San Diego Magazine has been very kind to me. The monthly column about rides around San Diego County continues, this time around with a backcountry lollipop road route that includes seeing a 200+ foot drop of a waterfall that is seasonal. Check it out here: The Best Backcountry Route to Mountain Bike to Mildred Falls. Some 28 miles and near 4000 feet of elevation gain.

Also, there is this piece that appeared in the print magazine, now available online with free access: Mountain Biking Through Six Eco-Zones on Mount Laguna.

Coming up this month … a Q&A with Jeremiah Bishop, the monthly installments of Fully Rigid and No Dabs, and a short piece on riding in Santa Barbara and where to find indie beer while there.
Happy weekend, everyone!
