Cuyamaca's Oakzanita Peak

Why it had been more than a couple of years since I last turned onto the singletrack that meanders through what feels like remote backcountry riding on up to Oakzanita Peak in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, I had no idea. Yesterday, on a perfect winter morning, by southern California standards, I climbed on up the gravel/dirt/fire/forest road after warming up on East Side Trail.

apparently, Gen Z is into less-than-perfect looking photos, i.e. the kind of blurry photos that often are the product of my ability using a mediocre phone camera
