the planet moves into autumnal equinox
setting up the best season for riding
when if the day time high never reaches
60 F, it makes for perfect conditions
to pedal a bike on trails for a few hours
the breeze kicks up to a wind, a slight bite
but not one that has me wishing for an added
layer that isn’t really needed, my body working
and keeping warm, happy and content
as cares give way to, does it really matter
mooooooooooooooooooooo, mooooooooooooooooooo
move over, get out da way, eat and laze
off trail, yippee aye eh, cow patty
not this time, no splat on the fffat
dodging ‘em like it’s a game to play
they ain’t cows, i mean, do you see udders
is it udderly unacceptable that it says cows
and not steers, but then again, who knows
what a steer is, who cares, open the gate
shut up and continue, pedal on america
