It is coming into the time of year when the land turns greener and wildflowers pop. From ocotillos to phlox to lupine, as well as mountain laurel and rhododendron, April through July in various landscapes, altitudes and climates are colored by nature’s palette. Riding on trails with the added beauty enhances the trail magic to the point that if there’s a mechanical, well, so be it. At least the flowers will keep a smile on my face.
