Election day is tomorrow here in the good ole U - S - of - A. Most of us will be looking for ways to keep our minds from going to check on things via phones and TVs. Sure, if we can, we’ll get out for a ride. I’ll be on campus all day long, with students who will be glued to the goings-on, no doubt.

If you’re needing something to distract you, here are some films to occupy your time:

First up is a short one on bikepacking the Anza Borrego desert here in east county San Diego. As we all say around these parts this time of year, “it’s coming into desert season.” I’ll be out there, for sure. Paul James has a pleasant little viewpoint into our local treasure:

Alexandera Houchin just won this year’s Arizona Trail Race 300 and went on to ride the 800 mile AZT … on a singlespeed, setting the woman’s record for that! A film put out by Freehub on Alexandera a few years back is here:

This past Friday, The Cure released their first album in 16 years. They also put on a show that night, livestreamed it, and then released it on YouTube.
