Not long before the summer solstice, two rides I went on ended up happening with zero dabs during both outings: one in the Cuyamacas, including a Lucky 5 out-and-back, and the second one being in the Lagunas. Upwards of five hours of total riding time and not one mishap. Not a single unclip from the pedal(s), other than stopping to eat and take a photo or two, occurred while in the saddle.
Who rides clipless anymore?
I do.
Who cares about no dab rides?
I do.
It feels good to ride clean.
Generational?
Maybe so.
Maybe not.
There is that No Dabs Challenge in Moab.
People still seem to get frustrated by getting bounced.
There is something about continuous pedaling and not putting a foot down that is a measurement of how good a ride goes/went.
Does it matter?
Not really.

Too late now!
