I need new wheels. That tire rub on the rear when I’m powering uphill is annoying. Have had ‘em for somewhere around 8-9 years. Battered. Don’t think true-ing them is worth it, and doubt they can be true-ed.
Why does bike shit cost so much?
Industry is having issues. That’s what the news is of late. Pandemic and its fallout, is the story. Plus more, but but but …
Industry … the ones who have sucked the fun out of mountain biking. Bottom lines and maximizing profit kills everything, literally even. Ask Mother Nature.
Fun now equals go faster and farther with less effort, doesn’t it?
Plug your bike into a wall socket.
Why is it that if anyone asks anything about e-bike-dom that doesn’t overtly bow down to the joys and wonders of riding a bike with a battery in it, that you are often called a “hater” by many an e-biker? From my vantage point, a goodly amount of e-bikers have some internal issues to work on with regard to their own decision-making about what bike they’ve chosen to ride.
Start with this: non-e-bikers do not care that you ride an e-bike. What we care about is your access to trails, as well as your trail etiquette, or lack thereof.
Public lands use policy matters. We all get a say. We all don’t agree. And that is entirely okay.
Can we at least talk about it without slinging names like 4th graders?
Industry … gonna get me those new wheels, though! Industry got us dropper posts, right?! Did full suspension make mountain biking more fun? Wagon wheels?
I need to build a scarecrow. Darn birds are everywhere and making a loud mess of noise.
Will stop by Cal Coast and talk 1-gear wheels. Need to do some research first.
Ah, Muntz. Nelson’s cousin. Been a little while since Muntz came to visit. I have to say, I don’t really miss Nelson. It’s been way too long to even remember what Nelson was really like to hang out with. I do remember good times, but with days gone by, maybe those good times turned into glory days.
Muntz, I guess you’re the new kid on the block. You’re alright to hang out with. Come around whenever you can.

Show me where da e-biker touched you bruh ✌🏽❤️🤟🏽
Haha, if I can learn to build them, you can too!
I think I've done 4 sets now. I only screwed up the lacing on one and had to start over.
