The weather changes my mood into what wet leaves and mud puddles taste like when you smell them and I couldn’t be happier. Dust is dead. Well, dust to dust, I guess is dead, or so they say. Anyway …
Lean a little lower into those corners, I mean, the knobs lock up and rail, rail, rail … not gently down the trail … merrily, merrily, merrily … life is but a dream.
Doesn’t it seem?
Who cares!?!
A porter is/was a person who’d carry other people’s stuff on/off the boat, or something like that.
Workers. Laborers.
In the local watering holes around the ports, the darker colored beer (which doesn’t always equate to being “stronger”/higher ABV, e.g. Guinness Stout) with higher ABV became the choice of porters in the Baltic region, hence … Baltic Porters. Pretty much, they will provide you a little extra kick in the head, if you want/need one.
Need? Huh? Well …
Well this is absolute perfection. Structures Brewing. Bellingham, WA. Never biked there. Apparently this Baltic Porter is back after a couple year hiatus. My goodness, make this a regular winter offering.
Pedal, pedal, pedal your bike … gently down the trail …
Merrily, merrily, merrily …
Life is but a dream.
