With all of the rain (it’s raining now and will again tomorrow) of late, I knew it would be wet in some spots of Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, but with big ole’ fat tires, I would argue that one can roll through it all and then I would also argue that the way I see it, the damage is/was at most, minimal, at worst. Fat bikes are not only for snow and sand/desert, they are perfect for the seasons in between the seasons, when there’s muck and mire, which is not a problem when rolling extra fat tires.
