Hey James. I do see e bikes where they shouldn’t be. I also see analog mountain bikes where they shouldn’t be. I see dog walkers bag their doggies poop and then leave it on the side of the trail. I don’t think any of these issues have anything to do with how you spend your time on the trails and I don’t think it has anything to do with an add someone saw. Can’t wait to read part 3
I hear you on individual choices, Michael. I'm getting at larger implications related to policy and the decision makers/making around changing public lands policy. Advertisements do influence consumer behaviors.
I’ll say it, I’m a hater. Unless you need one, I think they are superfluous. Even the old guys I know say they like them because they can do “all the trails” when visiting parks, without resting. These are guys who can outpace me on a real bike. If your knees get sore after 20+ miles when you’re 70, it’s not an ADA issue.

People want things to be easy. That's why e bikes are so popular.
Sometimes it's best to work(hard) for what you want. It's good for the soul.
Agreed, Jeff, it feels good after a day of loading, hauling and stacking wood and then burning it in the stove to keep warm all winter!
Haters can keep on hating cuz it don’t matter what you think
I love my trek exe ❤️❤️❤️
You're proving my point. Thanks, Chano!

I hear you, Thomas. I think you're onto something (!).
