I agree James. If you took away all the e-bikes that riders, especially young riders bought for the wrong reasons, there wouldn't be that big of a market. It is also obvious that we are being gouged for manual bikes if I can get an e-bike for the same price. I saw a Trek Slash for 10K which is what I can get an Orbea e-bike for with similar components.

It seems every year the prices just continue to climb.
When did a mid level bike jump into the$4-5k range? Didn't that used to be the Ferrari of bikes, best you could buy, full on 20lb race bike?
I refuse to buy a cassette that costs more than $100 haha.
